This 7-hour course, by Dr. Liz Lindh, Program Director of Lakshmi Rising Yoga & Wellness, provides an introduction to the ancient science of Ayurveda. Ayurveda is the oldest continuously practiced health system on the planet, and a sister science to yoga. The concepts explored in this course are interwoven into both the Lakshmi Rising 200- and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training programs.

Liz gives an overview of the five elements and the tri-dosha (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha). She shares invaluable techniques and tips for incorporating simple Ayurvedic wisdom into your daily life, including asana and pranayama practices to help balance each dosha. This course also includes a 39-page ebook to accompany the video lectures. A downloadable certificate is awarded after the course requirements have been successfully fulfilled.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to integrate the living wisdom of Ayurveda into your lifestyle, including insights around the cultivation of balance, harmony and wellness. This course is appropriate for all– especially students and teachers of yoga, professionals of the healing arts, as well as anyone interested in holistic health.
