By booking or participating in any program, training, retreat, or service offered by Lakshmi Rising, Gaia Gourmet, or Stay Well Lifestyle LLC and their agents, you agree to the following Terms & Policies in full.

Payment & Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable, for any reason.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled program:

  • You may transfer your payment to another training or retreat (subject to availability) up to 30 days before your start date
  • Transfer must be used within 18 months of your original start date
  • Any price difference between programs must be paid at the time of transfer
  • Early-bird or promotional pricing does not apply to transferred bookings
  • Accommodations may change if availability differs—room types are not guaranteed on transfer
  • No refunds or credits are issued for price differences if a transferred room is lower in cost

No partial refunds are given for missed sessions, early departure, or unused services.

Note: Should Lakshmi Rising and Gaia Gourmet feel the need to change retreat venues, for any reason whatsoever, in order to protect the interest of the training, students, and/or faculty, they may do so without notice.

How Your Data Is Used

  • Deliver email communication or marketing (you may unsubscribe at any time)
  • Improve the user experience on our website

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties. We may share limited information with trusted service providers such as payment processors or email platforms to operate our business.

Under GDPR, EU residents may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us.

Force Majeure (Impossibility of Performance)

Lakshmi Rising, Gaia Gourmet, or Stay Well Lifestyle LLC and their agents are not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters, extreme weather, government action, war, pandemics, transportation disruption, airline cancellations, strikes, or emergencies.

No refunds will be issued if your attendance is impacted by such events.

Medical & Personal Responsibility

By attending, you affirm:

  • You are in good physical and mental health to participate
  • You understand the physical risks associated with yoga, travel, and retreat settings
  • You assume all risk related to injury, illness, or emotional discomfort
  • You agree to consult a medical professional before attending if needed

Our Yoga Teacher Trainings and retreats are professional education programs,designed to teach you how to teach the practices of yoga, not therapy, a detoxification program, or medical treatment, nor a replacement for such treatments. 

Our faculty and staff are not medical professionals, licensed therapists, or mental health practitioners and do not carry clinical backgrounds in PTSD, addiction, sexual abuse counseling, or other mental health concerns. 

If you have a history of PTSD or extreme drug use, it is important that you arrive to our program in a stable state with the intention of using the practices of yoga for self -regulation and personal spiritual growth. If you are seeking more personalized therapeutic support, we advise you to make that therapy your priority before attending an intensive yoga teacher training immersion.

Participation may involve physical exertion and emotional exploration. You assume full responsibility for your physical and mental wellbeing during the program.

Behavior & Conduct

We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate without refund.

Harassment, substance misuse, or violation of community agreements may result in immediate dismissal.

Photography & Media Release

By attending our programs, you grant permission for photos or videos taken during the training to be used for marketing, educational, or promotional purposes unless you submit a written opt-out request before the program begins.
